針對女性性功能部分,研究顯示93%患者的性功能量表(Female Sexual Function Index, FSFI)分數有程度不等的改善5,尤其是在性慾(Desire)、高潮(Orgasm)和性滿意度(Satisfaction)三大項目的分數提升。另有研究顯示針對產後婦女骨盆底肌群鬆弛造成的尿失禁與性功能障礙,HIFEM治療效果也比電刺激治療和對照組顯著6。雖目前HIFEM治療椅應用在女性性功能障礙的醫學實證還不足,但作為一個非侵入性的骨盆底肌群復健輔助,HIFEM治療椅在婦女性健康與尿失禁仍是一項頗具發展性的工具。
