Workshop 1
How to make a diagnosis of spermatogenesis in minutes---Touch Print Smear of Testicular tissue at biopsy or mTESE
Workshop description:
This workshop enables the participants a comprehensive understanding of spermatogenesis, and learn the methodology of performing touch print smear of testicular specimen for a real time interpretation of spermatogenesis. This powerful diagnostic tool provides you a prompt diagnosis of azoospermia in minutes. This method can offer solid evidence of sperm yields for the surgeon, and helps to convey message to the embryologists who are handling the specimens for sperm retrieval in the IVF lab.
Who are recommended to attend?

Embryologists who are handling mTESE samples for sperm retrieval
Gynecologists who are specified in reproduction medicine for azoospermic couples
Pathologists who are reading testicular specimen regularly
Course objectives:
Spermatogenesis, from basics
Differentiating diagnosis from hypospermatogenesis, maturation arrest and Sertoli cell-only
Methodology of touch print smearing and stain, tips of imaging filing
Workshop 2
Microscopic EV anastomosis made easy---Obstructive azoospermia, scrotal exploration and epidydimovasostomy
Workshop description:
Microscopic epidydimovasostomy is the most challenging microscopic surgery in Urology. This workshop enables the participants to understand the detailed procedure of this surgery. The participants will use simulating plastic models to practice the step-by-step procedure of epididymovasostomy. Who are recommended to attend?
Urologists and andrologists showing interests in managing infertile males, especially obstructive azoospermia. No experience of microscopic surgery is also welcome.
Course objectives:
Acquaintance of the step-by-step procedure of epidydimovasostomy
